Think Tank

I served on the professional development “think tank," making a presentation to the faculty on the social and emotional effects of mental illness on our students. I worked closely with Scott Gill, the RPS counselor, on this project. Slides from my presentation are displayed to the left.

Model UN and Euro Challenge

In February of 2016, I organized and ran a trip of 25 students to Washington DC to participate in Georgetown University's Model UN competition (NAIMUN). In addition, I brought groups to compete in Hillcrest High School's Model UN competition (at Columbia University) and Bronx High School of the Sciences Model UN competition.

In 2014 and 2015, I also served as the faculty advisor for the Euro Challenge club. In both years, I brought groups of students to New York City to participate in the annual Euro Challenge competition.

Drama Tech and Costumes

Each year I worked at Rutgers Prep, I joined with Cora Turlish to help with the school drama productions. I used my skills as a seamstress to construct more than a dozen costume pieces and have solved such staging problems as a modular snowman, a quick change between a princess and a peasant, and the inclusion of a tap number in the middle of a 1930s comedy of manners.

Vertical Articulation

I participated in the vertical articulation project in the summer of 2014, where I wrote reports detailing the scope and sequence of all course from K-12 for half of the departments. This report was used to acquire reaccreditation for RPS.
